Has it all been in vain?
Having lived in uncertainty,
Serving the lamb who was slain,
Believing in eternity?
Believing that He went through pain,
And has already began his reign.

I was once like fish out of water,
I felt like grabbing every opportunity,
Everybody being a hater,
Felt away from familiarity,
Completely out of space,
Nobody wanted to be my ace.

The paths I walked through,
Too weary to step on,
Too dark to see through,
Someone gave me strength to press on,
So much for me on the cross, redemption,
His Holy Ghost helps me live straight, perfection.

See,
The women looking for Him with fragrance,
For them who would roll the stone?
He had already given them a glance,
And He did it all alone,
Did they have to wonder who it was?
The power from the cross.

I’ll now give Him praise,
Thank Him for the blessing,
From the ashes He gave me a raise,
In addition to His redeeming,
The reason am alive, His mercy,
Because in Him I believe, my life back to normalcy.
